Pastry & Filling
- 1 crescent roll sheet
- 2 full-size Snickers candy bars
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)
Instructions
- Prepare Air Fryer Basket: Line your air fryer basket with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
- Cut Dough and Candy: Lay the crescent roll sheet flat on a nonstick surface. Use a pizza cutter to divide it into 9 squares. Cut each Snickers bar into three equal pieces.
- Wrap Candy: Place one piece of Snickers in the center of each dough square. Fold the dough around the candy, pinching the ends tightly to seal completely and prevent leakage.
- Arrange in Basket: Place the wrapped candy pieces seam-side down in the prepared air fryer basket. Depending on your air fryer size, cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Brush with Butter: Using a pastry brush, coat each wrapped Snickers piece with melted butter to ensure a golden, crispy crust.
- Air Fry: Cook at 370°F (190°C) for 5 minutes or until the pastries are puffed and golden brown.
- Optional Finishing Touch: Remove from the air fryer, allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
Notes
- Make sure to seal the dough tightly around the Snickers to avoid melting candy leaking out.
- Air fryer models vary; check pastries halfway through cooking to prevent burning.
- Serve warm for the best gooey texture.
- Use parchment paper specifically designed for air fryers to allow proper air circulation.
- You can substitute Snickers with other candy bars like Milky Way or Mars for variation.
